Description of Cephalenchus regia n. sp. associated with Walnut (Juglans regia) from Lawat Kundiyan, District Neelum, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan

Lawat Valley is one of the greenest valleys in Neelum District, situated near bank River Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Surveys were conducted from seven different localities area district during 2018-2020. A total 250 samples soil and roots collected areas where various fruits vegetables grown at a depth 10-20 cm. The main objective survey was to study pathogenic nematodes observe incidence diseases caused by parasitic nematodes. From Kundian, six nematode species identified apricot trees, walnut including newly species, Cephalenchus regia. C. regia n.sp. found around dry fruit (Juglans regia) Kundian. It differs other having longer stylet, pharynx, tail (22-24; 115-130; 150-200 µm, respectively), as well an anteriorly vulva (57.4 - 62.5%)
